Things to do

  • With the beach just metres from your deck, the ocean is your playground.  There is a reef in front of the property which is fantastic for snorkelling.  There are kayaks and surf skis as well as stand up paddle boards for you to head out and see the local marine wildlife - a spectacular range of coral and fish, with occasional turtles and dugongs.​

  • The huge lawn is great for a game of cricket or badminton, and there are golf clubs available too if you want to practice your putting skills on the grass.  The local golf club is a 10 minute drive away if you want a bit of competition.​

  • Take a walk around the lovingly tended gardens - the lush tropical plantings provide a riot of colour and scent to delight the senses.​

  • Inside there is Wifi and Foxtel TV, books, games and movies available for a rainy day.  Other activities and entertainment can be arranged on request - such as a string band or water music display.  If you prefer to chill out, there is a massage table at the property and a visiting masseuse is available. The fire pit on the beach is magical at night.

Feeling more adventurous?  Ocean Point Villa is approximately a 15 minute drive from Luganville town, which is the main shopping area and local market. 

  • Enjoy a leisurely bike ride around the island.

  • Explore the local markets.

  • Swim in crystal clear and spectacularly blue, cool fresh water at the Blue Holes

  • Drive up the coast to Champagne Beach then on to Port Olry for lunch and a walk along another beautiful beach.  

  • Chat to the local fishermen or take a swim or kayak out to the island in the bay. 

  • Fishing charters and diving are a phone call away.

  • Enjoy a horse riding tour, often including swimming with your horse.  

  • If you are feeling fit and adventurous, try the Millennium Cave tour - a full day of activity including visiting a local village and floating down a fresh water canyon.
